An Investigation Into Learners’ Autonomy At An Institution In Vietnam

The study employed a mixed method research design to investigate the self-perceived levels of learners’ autonomy at institution where researcher works. also explores teachers’ support in fostering students’ autonomy. In addition, attempts determine relationship between genders, learning styles and main findings reveal that level was conducted medium (M = 2.66 out 5.0 scale). terms perception their roles autonomy, finding current reveals it quite supportive 3.29 indicated difference is not significant male female students 2.667 for compared with M 2.668 students). Finally, result showed there statistically different styles. To be specifically, who prefer kinesthetic style possess highest 2.75) 2.60 2.59 visual individual students. M=2.72; M=269 M=2.62 are group, tactile auditory respectively.
